Watching the news about the Quebec student unrest makes me wonder what kind of country we live in. For some inexplicable reason, they think they are entitled to either a heavily subsidized or free university education.
And that is what makes me question where this idea of being entitled to so much because of where you were born comes from. Our ancestors who came to this country did not have any free ride. I remember stories from my grandmother who was a homesteader in the early 1900′s. If she didn’t shoot a rabbit or partridge off the back porch during the day, there was no meat for supper, and sometimes no supper.

Time is literally running out. Anyone who is serious about losing a few pounds before swimsuit season is here should act right now.
I know of so many people who will go to the beach in their clothes, but will not put so much as a foot in the water. Why you ask? Because they don’t want to be seen in their bathing suit. And that’s too bad, that they deprive themselves such enjoyment. But it is also understandable.
Weight is a HUGE issue in our society. But weight gain is just the tip of a big iceberg and it is called our toxic load. Read More
If you do a Google Search for “the trouble with men”, you will find first and foremost, the words “Erectile Dysfunction”. But that’s not the trouble with men that I want to talk about.
The trouble I’m talking about is that the majority of men believe that growth and maturity are signs of weakness. I see this again and again where the woman in a relationship reaches a point where she wants to grow, to become more than what she has been, but the man sees it as a sign of weakness. And this is not a middle age crisis I’m talking about, but a natural evolution of the human spirit.

We have all heard that expression, “In the blink of an eye, everything changed”. And I have to tell you I hear that said to me by clients on a daily basis.
Everything is going along in one’s life and the future looks great, “pedal to the metal baby, it’s full speed ahead”. And then something happens and everything changes.

Well this is a blog post that I wish I wasn’t writing, but since we treat so many people for parasites, here goes.
Because of our mild winter this year, the tick season has already started just south of the Canadian border. That means it probably is here in Ontario right now. Ticks are insects whose bite can cause Lyme Disease. And getting this can be life altering in a very bad way.
The picture, from the Pediatric Associates of Conneticut shows what these nasty little creatures look like.
And for people living in the Ottawa Ontario area, be warned, deer ticks and deer … Read More
Treated another patient with a hiatus hernia today and so I thought I would share a little about this problem. Acid Reflux, also known as a hiatus hernia is actually a problem that can be fixed. It is almost always a result of your ribs being torqued, or twisted. This in turn causes your diaphragm, that large flat muscle we all have between our lungs and our intestines to become spasmodic.
You see, your mouth and throat turn into your esophagus, a tube that takes the food down to the stomach.
Spring Cleaning is in the air.
But have you ever thought of cleaning not just your house, but your body?
And detoxing or cleaning your body in not just a physical way, but emotionally and energetically?
This is the time that Dr. Marcelle and I do just that. This weekend is our… Read More
There are a lot of names for a sore elbow, Tennis Elbow, Golfers Elbow and Epicondylitis. They all are about the same thing and I have one. All because I strained my elbow while lifting weights.
After using ice (20 minutes at a time) and rest, it still seems to be quite sore so today I tried Acupuncture.
Now I will be the first to admit my fear of needles. In fact “I am a fainter” and have been for all of my life. And so it was with reluctance that I…
Every year, especially after spring break, I start to see more and more people with parasitic symptoms coming to see me.
Some estimates are that up to 80% of the population have a parasitic infection. Some parasites we just live with and think that extra 40 pounds is a natural thing. Read More
