At the Ultimate Detox workshop last week, Dr. Marcelle Forget gave a great example of how much toxicity is too much toxicity. The reason I am blogging about this is because most people, and I do mean most people purposefully ignore the 800 pound gorilla in the room when it comes to their health.
I have has some people say to me, they don’t do diets, they are only concerned about their health, not losing weight. And they slowly put on the pounds and develop all sorts of chronic diseases with time. Diseases such as arthritis, diabetes, cholesterol problems and on and on.
And others, in this case men, who proudly pat their protruding gut and say “bought and paid for”.
Did you know that when your body becomes toxic, it will dilute the toxins in an attempt to lessen the negative effects on your health. And on comes the swelling, on come the pounds and this is just the tip of the iceberg.
So how much is too much? If you had a barrel of fine wine, and someone put a teaspoon of raw sewage in that barrel with the wine, would drink it? I sure wouldn’t! Would you?
Oooo didn’t know how much I needed the detox last week. 10 days later and 5 pounds lighter with more energy and feeling more alert than I’ve been all year, I must have been carrying around more than I realized, especially since I feel I eat quite well. The long winter this past year found me trying to keep warm by eating more comfort foods and less greens as well as drinking less water and more hot teas. We all have a different gauge of health but I know know that feeling this clear is a state I want to maintain.
I am so grateful to have gone through this well balanced detox! Thanks Dr Tony for suggesting it!
So happy that you are feeling better Dawn. In actual fact, you most likely lost a little over 10 pounds of fat, (toxic fat) and gained about 5 pounds of muscle mass in those 10 days! Woo Hoo!
That last workshop was so well balanced with information, treatment, assesment of our health.
I am looking forward to start my ten days detox this week

Your best Detox Workshop yet!
I enjoyed JP’s presentation on the Tai Chi symbol representing Yin and Yang… good concepts for my soul!
I also liked Brian’s presentation on the fasciae and his foot-relaxation demo we all did with the tennis ball – an easy way for me to have a foot massage at work.
I am now consciously chewing my food 35 times before I swallow (versus only 12 chews), and it has made a big difference in how my stomach feels – less irritated.
I start my 10-day detox program tomorrow. My weaknesses are barbeque chicken, cheese and chocolate. Wish me luck!

Just a early notice, but we will repeat the Ultimate Detox workshop on September 25 in Ottawa, Canada
Today june 9 all the way to the 19 I will be experimenting the 9 day Detoxification.
I have prepare myself with Kundalini Kryas
based on reinforcing my Chakra with mentra and repeting exercise. I will do this in a prayerfull maner as my “body is the temple of my soul. So long healing prayer drum chanting dancing and other spiritual will accompany this healing process.
I encourage anybody who tooked the long workshop to attend this one so that you learn that you are really what you eat.
