Last May my daughter was married. I was just sorting through a pile of papers beside my desk and found her wedding programme; on the back there is a quote by Lord Byron:
“There is no instinct like that of the heart.”

There is a saying in Law: when one acts as their own lawyer they have a fool for a client. The same can be said about people who act as their own physician.
The more your educated, the more you’re aware of your body, and the more knowledgeable you’ll become. However, the expression, “a little knowledge is a dangerous thing” can be very true – especially in health care . . .

It has been said that youth is wasted on the young and as I age, I agree more and more with that statement everyday.
Men reach their physical peak at about age 30 and their sexual peak at about age 18. That just doesn’t seem right, at least not to me as I sailed past these peaks and didn’t even know they existed. Now that I am on the downward slide toward old age, I think that someone should do something about reversing this error in our DNA . . .

Yes. Right. Very good. . .
Is there some back door I can slip through instead? Are all the doors to success locked with the organization key; there must be a service entrance?
I’m terrible at organizing. My efforts start off fine: I can make a to-do list, tidy up my closet, and arrange my business agenda for the upcoming week . . . but leave all this alone a few days and it soon reverts to chaos.
Why? Because life is fast. It’s full of changes, full of plans and things can flip themselves upside down without notice. Expect the unexpected . . .
