When we think of a mentor, we often think of some wise sage who graciously helps a new recruit, a trainee and the like. It is time to rethink what a mentor is and I saw the perfect example of it just the other day.

What is a mentor? Well, on a deeper level it’s like having a coach. And with both cases, coaching and mentoring, there are differences between good influences and “not so good” influences . . .
