That is great advice Darcy. We had a Golden Receiver and she was the "best dog ever", but when we got rid or our carpets and put in hardwood floors, the hair we found was unbelievable. The rugs seemed to trap or absorb all the dog hair and dander. we thought we had a clean house before, but wow! A clean house is a healthy house.

Hi, a few of the things I have been doing a bit differently in the last few years, that have made my home more pleasant are; changing the furnace filter every two months or so in the winter especially as the house is closed so much more, (plus we have a beautiful sheddy dog), also I have been cleaning with a vinegar and baking soda solution and now find I don't mind cleaning as I don't get headaches from the fumes. Also, I find that cleaning the windows, while not that much fun to do, gives me a lift when I look out of them.
