I think everyone likes Anderson Cooper. Did you know that his mother is Gloria Vanderbilt? Gloria Vanderbilt, a fashion icon, noted for her swan logo on the back of her world renowned skinny jeans.
So you would think that Anderson Cooper, of CNN fame would have grown-up with everything given to him. He should never have had to work a day in his life, like say Paris Hilton. But that is not the story of Anderson.
He said recently, that when he was a young man, he asked his mother for advice as to what he should pursue in life. And that he was expecting her to say something like “Plastics”, just like the advice Justin Hoffman was told in the movie The Graduate.
But guess what his mother said to Anderson Cooper? She didn’t say plastics, but instead said to him, “Follow Your Bliss.
And those words are what Anderson Cooper used to pursue a career in T.V. journalism. And look at him now.
