How to Live Your Life – by Steve Jobs

Steve Jobs was a genius, in the same league as Albert Einstein my wife tells me.  That he had a gift, we all know and the whole world appreciates.  His unfortunate death has made us realize just how much he had to offer the world.

His address to the Stanford graduating class is worth the few minutes it takes to watch it.  To paraphrase, when talking about how to live your life this is what he said

“Find what you love and do what you love”

Watch the video below:

And now that you watched it, check out Ultimate Wake Up, where we help you find the passions in your life and remove the obstacles to achieving your life’s vision.

  1. Jeff says:

    I love this quote “learn to follow your heart, even when it leads you off the well worn path” as he tries to explain how to have faith in yourself when you cannot connect the dots in life.

    I had watched this in the past, but thanks for re-posting, going to look at this a few more times to make sure the messages sink in.

  2. Dr Marcelle and Dr Tony says:

    Deep down we all know we should follow our heart. But then practicality and a multitude of excuses takes over. It can be difficult to go your own way.

  3. Francoise says:

    Whenever I feel I’m going off track, the two messages which I keep in my mind, I heard from Marcelle:

    1) “The purpose of life is to live.” (from one of Marcelle’s early articles – still my favourite one!);

    2) “Be 100% in the moment.” (from my first Ultimate Wake Up workshop).

    Having experienced wonderful changes this year, I’m looking forward to attending your November 2011 workshop (my fourth one) to further explore my full potential.

    I have to say that the Steve Jobs video is exactly what we try to bring people to at the Ultimate Wake UP. Thanks Francoise, and I am looking forward to that weekend as well.
