Let Them Know

This spring of 2011 has seen an awakening of the human spirit around the world.  From the Arab revolutions in Tunisia, Egypt, Libya and Syria to Iran and China, people are waking up, yearning for freedom.  Freedom that so many of us in the west have taken for granted.

And what can we do, we as individuals that is?  Not a lot, but, we can let them know that we are watching, and hoping and wishing them well.

The following video is, I think, the most powerful video that I have seen in a long, long time.  If  you haven’t seen it before, turn your speakers way up loud. And if you have seen it before, grab a friend and turn your speakers way up loud.  And then pass this along to others.  Let’s make a wave to let them know that they are not alone. The world is watching!

Pass it on!

If you have Facebook, use it to pass this along as that will definitely get some mileage. Just click below on the Thumbs Up Like button. Thanks.

    Hi Tony,

The people of these countries may be yearning for their own freedom, but they still don’t seem to have raised their consciousnesses high enough to see the wisdom of allowing the people of Israel the same freedom to exist.

I do hope that, over time, this novel idea will suddenly pop into their minds and there will be peace in this part of the world.

I have been promoting promoting playin for change for quite a long time. For those of you that want to get to the story behind this project I suggest you take a look at

    http://playingforchange.com/

“Soon will the present-day order be rolled up, and a new one spread out in its stead.” Baha’u'llah mid 19th century

Hate seems so easy to spread doesn’t it? And that is why we all have to try so hard to overcome hatred and ignorance.

  4. Lise D. says:

I stumbled upon “playingforchange” a while back and had my teen watch because I feel his generation is growing up with more lyrics supporting disrespect and intolerance rather than standing up against violence and injustice. Unfortunately, this isn’t the type of promotion that goes viral on youtube. Thanks for sharing – it’s great to hear the finished project again.

I understand, but the only way to make it go viral is to pass it on, to your list. I really believe we are ready for something positive like this.
