I was at a breakfast meeting in Ottawa the other day and the American Ambassador to Canada, David Jacobson, gave a talk. He said that to understand the relationship between our two countries, just watch the NBC video in which Tom Brokaw Explains Canada to Americans. It is so worth watching that I have embedded it into this blog post. Just watch it. What an example for the world.

Thanks for posting such an uplifting video about the relationship between Canada and the U.S. – the photography alone is well worth seeing.
You are correct in stating that it would be nice if other countries had similar close and friendly ties with each other. The world would indeed be a better place.
