Synchronicity vs Coincidence

Carl Jung, the Swiss psychologist, in the 1920s coined the term Synchronicity.  To put it as simply as possible, it is when two or more events happen together in a meaningful way.

There are so many examples of this happening that I won’t take your time  to give one.  They are so common that we stop seeing them for what they are.  Meaningful coincidences that happen to you could be described as your manifesting abilities.

That’s right, you are manifesting all these meaningful coincidence in your life.  And that is the power of manifesting.

The Power of Manifesting

Now you can say that this is all nonsense, and just call all these events coincidences.  In fact that is what most people do.  But consider the power of realizing that there is “something” happening and that you have an influence.

And once you realize that somehow, you are part of the process, you can start to make “meaningful coincidences” happen on purpose.  And that’s how you start to manifest your life!

Ok, so now that I posted about synchronicity, here is what happened today. I needed to do a “Emissions Check” to renew my truck license. For some reason, the thought popped into my head to do it today on the way home from the office.
They took me right away and in less than 30 minutes I was done.

Not the end of the story. As they pulled the truck out of the garage, the brake line ruptured! If I had been on the road that would have been an accident and I hate to think what may have happened.

Now for the repairs, but at least, no accident, no injuries.

Thank goodness I listened to my little voice.

Thank you so much for the reminder! I heard about this phonominon when I was in college. I am going through a difficult time, and for got for awhile about it for awhile. The reminder is encouraging. Just one question though how do you work on developing it?

Wow… that is a powerful example of synchronicity. I see synchronicity often and it makes my life feel like magic, as though my destiny is being guided by a loving energy. The more I talk about the magic that I see in life, the more like-minded people I meet, and the more fun I have.

Today at work during a team building exercise where we had to share something about our personal lives, one of my colleagues said that she is into pet sitting. I have been looking for a pet sitter who knows how to give insulin injections to my diabetic cat.

I knew that she would be perfect since her dog was diabetic, and we would talk about how to treat our diabetic pets. When he died a few years ago, she gave me a box of unused insulin needles for my cat. She started to do pet sitting after her dog died. She already asked me about my cat’s dosage and how many times a day he takes his insulin. So we are going to check our calendars to see if she is available when I go away.

You must become aware of your thoughts and what is happening around you. I find that it works well and that the more I listen, the more I am guided. Call it synchronicity, or just dumb luck. I call it synchronicity!! Woo Hoo!

That is it! Listen, develop your awareness! I’ve learned that in the last few years and it makes such a difference in the way I now see life :)

Thank you Marcelle & Tony for being my life coaches! You guys are AWESOME!!!
